The Standard Behind the Badge
IFRA — the International Fragrance Association — publishes the world's most widely adopted safety standards for fragrance materials. Its guidelines restrict or ban hundreds of substances and set strict maximum concentrations for many more, based on decades of dermatological and respiratory research. When a fragrance is IFRA-compliant, every aromatic material in it has been checked against those limits for its specific use case.
For VAYURA, the use case is demanding: a small, enclosed, often hot space where exposure is daily and prolonged. We formulate to IFRA limits for exactly that scenario — not for a large airy room.
What We Leave Out
Every VAYURA fragrance is free from alcohol, parabens, phthalates and aerosol propellants. No ingredient goes in just because it's cheap. The result is a scent that's gentle on sensitive noses, safe around kids and pets, and stable for 40–45 days.
Clean air shouldn't be a luxury. It should be the baseline.
